I am the son of artists so I am proud of having received a great legacy: creativity! 

My father with absolute pitch, intuition and foresight, was an excellent guitarist and had marked creativity, like his father, in the trade especially of fabrics and clothing.

The presence of musicians, writers (from grandmother Concetta Palumbo) and a sculpture also underlines the creativity in the family. 

On my mother's side (grandmother Vita Grisanti in Meschis) they were all masters in creating new fabrics, new models of clothes, new collections, starting from the pattern. But they were also inventors and non-academic veterinary doctors.

Grandfather Antonio Meschis had instead been secretary of Prince Lanza di Scalea but for many years at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo the first dancers relied on his mastery in order to have new and comfortable dance shoes. 

Change, research, experimentation, as well as design and scenography have always fascinated me! 

The locations that I select on the net to show the works (I've been doing it for many years now) are the result of my instinctive passion and attraction for beauty, nature and art at 360 degrees. 

The years 2021 and 2022 marked an epochal turning point at all levels of this beautiful land we inhabit. 

An insistent voice in my mind in recent months has happily led me to make animals that I consider sentient creatures protagonists with my works.

Le mie opere in ambienti virtuali rivisti digitalmente nella scenografia

Sono figlio di artisti pertanto sono fiero di aver ricevuto una grande eredità: la creatività!  

Mio padre dotato di orecchio assoluto, intuito e lungimiranza, era un eccellente chitarrista  ed aveva una spiccata creatività nelle attività commerciali, come suo padre, soprattutto  di tessuti e abbigliamento.  

La presenza anche di musicisti, scrittori (da parte di nonna Concetta Palumbo) e uno scultore sottolinea la creatività in famiglia. 

Da parte di mia mamma (nonna Vita Grisanti in Meschis) erano tutti maestri nel creare nuovi tessuti, nuovi modelli di vestiti, nuove collezioni, a partire dal cartamodello. Ma erano anche inventori e medici veterinari non accademici.

Nonno Antonio Meschis era invece stato segretario del Principe Lanza di Scalea ma per molti anni presso il Teatro Massimo di Palermo i primi ballerini si affidavano alla sua maestria per poter avere nuove e comode scarpe da ballo.

Il cambiamento, la ricerca, la sperimentazione, come anche il design e la scenografia mi hanno sempre affascinano! 

Le locations che seleziono in rete per mostrare le opere (oramai lo faccio da molti anni) sono frutto della mia istintintiva passione ed attrazione per il bello,  la natura e l'arte a 360 gradi. 

Gli anni 2021 e 2022 hanno segnato una svolta epocale a tutti i livelli di questa bellissima terra che abitiamo. 

Una voce insistente in questi mesi nella mia mente mi ha indotto felicemente a rendere protagonisti con le mie opere anche gli animali che considero creature senzienti.
